Thursday night

hi everyone

wanted to remind you that this Thursday's Mtm will be an outreach to Remington - for this, we will leaving McAllister at 6pm and driving up together.  We will be doing yard work and some house repairs and scraping and prepping the porch for painting at some point in the future.  We need scrapers for the porch and yard equipment - like rakes and hand tools.  

This will be a social time, enjoying hanging out together as the list is shorter than last time and we will feed everyone, so plan to come, hangout enjoy each other - it will be a great time.

Hey everyone - hope you are enjoying the heat this summer!!  and if not, hope you are finding ways to stay cool!

Next wk, July 18th, Mtm will be hanging out at McAllister from 645-800 pm - our usual and it will be an amazing time - would love to hang w you!

In 3wks, August 1st, we will be having our 2nd outreach of the summer in Remington - just like last time, we will meet at McAllister at 6pm and drive to Remington together - dinner will be there.

We need all the hands we can get.

We will be needing things for landscape beds
scrapers for paint that is peeling
a couple ladders - 6-8ft

then on August 15th, we will be moving soon locally - it also will be an amazing time of hanging out together - we always have a great time and new people ae always always welcome

Hope to see you for all of these - it is good to be w people who like you not because of what they can get out of you or what they expect from you - they can just care bc you are...that is a part of what Mom is all about and we hope to see you...

no Mtm next Thursday - next is July 18

Hi guys - we will not be having Mtm next wk, bc of July 4th - hope you all have a great time w your families and friends celebrating our country!

The next time we gather will be 7/18/19 645-800pm at McAllister - hope to see you there!

More than more is tomorrow night - the 6th

tomorrow night, the 6th, Mtm will be getting together from 645-800pm at McAllister Rec Center in Lafayette - would love to see you all there!!

Big Outreach this Thursday, May 9th - need all the help we can get!!

Hi everyone!

We had a great outreach last Thursday, moving someone across town on a rainy night!  It was soggy, but fun to be together and we enjoyed some yummy El Maguey (thanks to them for catering) together!

This coming Thursday, May 9th, we will meet at McAllister and leave at 6pm sharp (dinner at 645pm there, all together) for Remington where we will be helping a kind woman with some repairs to her home.  Her house is in downtown Remington (not a very big downtown) - kids are welcome, but there will not be childcare for them.

Come in work clothes and be ready to get dirty!

We need you to bring:

Power washers
Hoses
gloves
shovels
rakes
garden hand tools to clean out flower beds
dry wall knives/tools
ladders
hammers
electrical tools - wiring a light
hand tools to fix toilet - she has the repair kit to fix it
paint scrapers

At More than more, we believe in truly noticing the people around us - seeing them as the wonderful creations that they are - and sharing God's love w them.  Doing this every day changes us.  This outreach is simply an extension of a relationship some of our Mtm people have w this lady where we, as a group, become the hands and feet of God, expressing His love through our support.

This is an outreach we will plan to wear our orange shirts for - if you don't have one, you can comment on this post, or reply to the email, w your size and we will try to have one there for you.  But even if you don't have one, you will want to be at this outreach - it is always so much fun to serve together!!

Outreach this Thursday night for Mtm

Hi everyone!  One of our favorite things to do at Mtm is to reach out and share the love of God with the people around us.

So, in that spirit, this Thursday night, , the 25th of April, we will be helping someone move.

We will meet to load the trailers and have dinner at 6:30PM at 101 Lorene Place, Apt 5, West Lafayette.

From there we will all drive over to where she is moving and unload.

It will be a fun time of hanging out, eating some amazing food, and sharing God's goodness.

Please plan to bring your kids, but if they are little, also to keep an eye on them, as there will be no organized child care.

Would love to see you all there to share in this fun night.

Mtm is tomorrow night

Hey everyone - reminding you that Mtm is tomorrow at 645-800pm at McAllister - so excited to meet w you and hangout - we love becoming increasingly people who live this life in joy and peace and noticing the amazingness of life and God in every day and noticing the people around us, both for their brokenness and their wonder.

It is always a great time and I look forward to it.

as always we will have free child care for you for younger kids - thru about 5th to 6th grade - and McAllister is a fun place for older kids to hang out as well.

looking ahead, we are planning outreaches the next 2 Mtm's - on April 25th we will be helping someone move and on May 9th, we are planning top help someone who cant do for themselves w some household projects they need finished - details to follow!!

we always have a great time together and are one of the most welcoming groups of people I know - so, whether you have been coming for years, or have never joined us in person, we would love to have you - you will be better for it (and we will too)!!
